It's not just in Jemaa el-Fna square, the main square in Marrakech, where you'll want to spend time during your visit. The Medina of Marrakech is filled with narrow alleys, souks (markets), interesting architecture and more. Due to the city's unique history, Marrakech has been named a World Heritage site by UNESCO.

Social Media Description

Loved having time to stroll the streets and alleys of Marrakech where we found unique architecture, fountains, doors and more.

Fun fact: The Koutoubia Mosque, dating back to the 12th century, is the tallest building in the Medina today. A law restricting the height of new construction ensures that it will be the tallest in the years ahead as well.
