Among the many hats (or tiaras) worn by Miss American Samoa, the most important is that of promoting the United States territory as a tourist destination. Serving in the role as Miss American Samoa between 2021 and 2023, Kauhani Mea'alofa Teisa Fuimaono was also the second runner-up for the title of Miss Pacific Islands.

We had a brush with fame after disembarking our cruise ship at the America Samoa Port of Pago Pago. Shortly after exiting the ship, we met Kauhani Mea'alofa Fuimaono, Miss American Samoa 2021-2023. In addition to being a beautiful lady, she was so kind and very willing to pose for a photo!
