During an afternoon at Quinta Da Bela in Cambres, Portugal, don't miss watching the local sommelier open a vintage bottle of Port Wine with fire. After the port tongs (long-handled tongs) that are heated over fire and placed around the bottle are removed, the sommelier will replace them with a cold object which will cause the bottle to break. Then, the top part of the bottle (including the cork) can be removed helping to ensure that the cork doesn't crumble into the wine.
