One of the most visited places in Seville is the Plaza de Espana which dates back to 1928. Originally built for the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition, the square went through a major renovation in 2010. In addition to the amazing architecture of the buildings and the crystal clear canal with bridges crossing over, don't miss the benches, mosaics and frescoes which depict the country's 52 provinces.

The one place in Seville that I said we had to make a return visit to was Plaza de Espana. Fortunately, we avoided rain during our encore visit (and the square was just as beautiful as I remembered)!
Fun fact: It was Plaza de Espana that was used as a backdrop in "Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones".
If you're twenty-two, physically fit, hungry to learn and be better, I urge you to travel - as far and as widely as possible. Sleep on floors if you have to. Find out how other people live and eat and cook. Learn from them - wherever you go. - Anthony Bourdain
