Absolute Zero, on Royal Caribbean's Star of theSeas, is advertised as "the largest ice rink at sea". On multiple days, the ice-skating cast performs "Sol". The show features "extreme stunts" including speed skating, jumping, flipping, dancing, lifting and more. It is strongly recommended that reservations are made before boarding. A limited number of seats can be reserved immediately after boarding. Guests can also line up for open seats from any "no shows" just before each performance.

Our first visit to Absolute Zero on Star of the Seas was on boarding day. The ice arena was our muster site in the event of an emergency, so we had to check-in confirming that we knew its location. We returned on day 2 to see "Sol" performed by the ice cast.
