Our main purpose for going to The Hut Inn on our last evening in Michigan's Upper Peninsula was to try a pasty made by Pasty Central. (Today, Pasty Central makes pasties to supply some local restaurants and food stores, and also ships them across the US.) Sadly, they had sold out of pasties before we arrived for dinner.
The good news was the decadent malts that we enjoyed to drown our sorrows away! In addition to these glasses filled with our caramel and chocolate caramel malts, we each received a stainless steel tumbler with the leftovers that wouldn't fit in the huge glasses.
