So glad to be back at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park for a couple more days to enjoy the awesome sand - even though the temperature is a little cool!
Although I have seen black (and other colored) sand beaches, I never really realized that all beach sand wasn't the same. That was, until several years ago when we spent some time on Florida's Emerald Coast. The powdery white sand beats any sand that I've seen anywhere else in the world - even in the South Pacific!
