You Can't Explore New Zealand Without a Caravan!


    

When you hear about people exploring the islands of New Zealand, you'll often learn that they will be traveling by caravan. The islands have many locations available for "freedom camping", land where those sleeping in caravans can camp for free. There are also public dump stations around the island making "caravaning" a great way to explore the country.

Well, we aren't actually traveling by caravan, but at least we can say we slept in one on our first night in New Zealand! We found this gem on Airbnb. It is parked very close to the Auckland airport and was perfect for recovering from our long overseas flight.
