Talkeetna River Guides offers 2 and 4 hour float trips starting on the glacier-fed Talkeetna. You are likely to see salmon, eagles and waterfowl as your guide rows along the water. You may get lucky and see a bear (or paw prints), a beaver, moose or fox, and when the skies are clear, even a view of Mount McKinley.

After a ride aboard the Denali Star train from Anchorage, we spent most of our Day 34 in the cute town of Talkeetna. We explored the "downtown" Main Street, visited the Ranger Station and more. We wrapped up our day with an early evening float on the Talkeetna and Susitna Rivers.
