Humboldt County in Northern California is the home of a 31-mile long road known as Avenue of the
Giants. The scenic drive runs through Humboldt Redwoods State Park between the towns of Phillipsville
and Stafford. A drive along the road, almost parallel to Highway 101, is a drive surrounded
on both sides by giant coastal redwood trees.

Have you ever been to a place where you felt really small?
On our way to Redwood National Park, we spent the better part of our day exploring the Avenue of the
Giants. It's amazing how small you really feel when surrounded by the giant coastal redwood trees. We
stopped to get an auto tour map and found most of the points of interest including the Visitors Center,
Founders Grove and the Dyerville Giant.
What's a place that you been where you felt so small in comparison to your surroundings?
