The Basilica of Santo Stefano is commonly referred to as "Seven Churches". Today, only four of the original seven structures are still standing - Church of the Crucifix, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Courtyard of Pilate and Church of Saints Vitale and Agricola. In addition to seeing a variety of architectural styles, a visit to the complex allows visitors to explore chapels, porticoes, courtyards, churches, monasteries and cloisters while passing by religious statues, frescoes, designs made of mosaic tiles and more.
