The resort rooms within Bahia Principe Escape Ambar are a short walk to Playa Bavaro beach. Plenty of chaise lounge chairs, some palapas and palm trees plus a beach bar can all be easily found on the sand. A stroll near the beach in the evening can be a great opportunity to watch the sun set over the Caribbean waters. For an extra charge, guests can even enjoy a romantic dinner on the beach. (Depending on the time of year, higher levels of sargassum are sometimes present - usually during the summer months.)

We didn't spend as much time on the beach at Bahia Principe Escape Ambar as we usually do because of the sargassum. The view from the beach loungers, the shade from the umbrellas and the adult beverages from the beach bar still made for a nice time!
