Strolling the shoreline at King Fisher Beach in Port O'Connor, Texas is the perfect way to get some exercise. Your stroll will likely take you past some in-process sand creations as well as sunbathers and swimmers. (The beach and fishing pier were newly created for residents and guests in 2017.) Looking for souvenirs or a gift - don't miss the great retail shops not far from the beach.

Do you have a favorite "mindless game" to play with friends?
Our June week in Port O'Connor just flew by. We spent our last day strolling the beach and checking out some of the local shops. (My favorite was Sisters Gift Shop where I bought 2 must have pairs of earrings!) As we did during many of the evenings there, we played a few more rounds of Farkle. If you haven't played - it's such a fun dice game that our friends taught us.
