Local Serenade at Port of Bergen, Norway

Bergen is one of the most popular cruise ports in Norway and all of Europe. It is just a short walk from the cruise port to Bryggen (the wharf) which is included on the UNESCO's World Heritage list. Bryggen is the home to the first wooden buildings built alongside the Bergen harbor.

Do you enjoy the local entertainment at cruise ship ports?

We almost always stop on our way out of the cruise ship (or back to the ship) when we see a group of locals gathering. It's fun to get a glimpse of the locals as they sing, dance and perform. During our 2016 port day in Bergen, Norway, we made it back to the ship just in time to see this group of local women sing as we passed by to embark.

What memorable entertainment have you enjoyed at cruise ship ports?
