South Africa | Cape Town | Cape of Good Hope | Cape Point Ostrich Farm | Reptile Rehabilitation | Ostriches | Animal Sanctuary
If you are going to drive to the Cape of Good Hope, why not add a few minutes to make a stop at the Cape Point Ostrich Farm and Reptile Rehabilitation Centre. In addition to providing a home to upwards of 40 breeding ostriches, the sanctuary strives to provide a temporary home to reptiles until they can be released back into their natural environment. Their goal is to eliminate extinction!

Our stop was a short one, but it was still fun to see the ostriches (and monkeys) at the Cape Point Ostrich Farm. We didn't have the time to take a tour where we could have learned about their efforts at reptile rehabilitation and breeding ostriches - maybe next time!
We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm, and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open. - Jawaharial Nehru
