One of the most popular sweet treats eaten by locals and visitors in Seville is churros with chocolate. Churros usually resemble long, fried sticks of dough that are crispy on the outside yet soft and airy on the inside. The sticks are usually covered with sugar and cinnamon but are even more decadent when dipped in a warm, thick chocolate sauce. (It's interesting to know that you will typically see locals enjoying churros for breakfast or an afternoon treat - but not for a night time dessert!)

The two things that I most remember from our first visit to Seville back in 2015 were Plaza de Espana and churros with chocolate. Repeated both faves during our recent visit!
