We spent our last full day in Cape Town on a wine tasting tour. Started our day at Fairview, the largest family owned winery in the cape where we sampled 7 different wines and cheeses. From there, we rode to Eikehof in the Franschoek region which has been owned by the same family for 4 generations. Next up was Le Pommier followed by lunch (served with wine, of course) in the Stellenbosch region. Our final stop of the day was at Beyerskloof.
Fun fact: South African wine was first introduced on the global market in 1994.
