Anyone who enjoys soaking in the beauty will love the views from the streets above Ponta do Sol on Madeira's southern coast. From the courtyard outside the capella (chapel), you'll have a panoramic view which includes the bell tower of Sao Sebastiao church and the Atlantic Ocean.

While driving around on the island of Madeira, we were in search of a "roadside waterfall" that I had read about. We never did find the waterfall, but we found a spot to park and wander around Ponta do Sol where we enjoyed some awesome views!
