Often referred to as "Chappies", the drive between Hout Bay and Noordhoek reveals one picturesque view after another on both sides of the road. Located on the Cape Peninsula, Chapman's Peak Drive parallels the Atlantic Coast as it climbs up to Chapman's Point before descending back down again. It's not a straight shot up and down on the 5 1/2 mile stretch, so prepare yourself for the more than 100 curves along the way.

When I asked a friend for recommendations on what to see in Cape Town, she mentioned that the drive down the Cape Peninsula "was so worth it". I was expecting the view from the "point" to be amazing, but wasn't really anticipating how picturesque the drive along Chapman's Peak Drive was going to be. So glad that we had this opportunity!
