After exploring Valencia's Old Town, take the city bus to visit what will feel like a different world, but still in the same city. From a journey through history, you'll have the feeling that you wandered into the future. Located in southeast Valencia, the City of Arts and Sciences is comprised of six modern buildings (plus other structures) which opened over a span of 11 years. The primary buildings include an aquarium, performing arts center, planetarium, science museum, sculpture garden and multi-use event center.

It's amazing how a bus ride from one part of a city to another part of the same city can make you feel like you are in a different world. Leaving the Old Town and going to Valencia's City of Arts and Sciences had that effect. Another reason why we need to return to Valencia - one day was not nearly enough to explore two worlds!
