Set your alarm for an early wake-up call if you are planning a weekend visit to Mount Ranier National Park during the summer. It's not unusual to be faced with a long line of cars which can delay your entry into the park by anywhere from 30 minutes to a couple of hours! The Longmire, Paradise and Ohanapecosh areas are among the most popular in the park. The most congested parking lots (Paradise and many trailheads) also tend to fill up early.

Social Media Description

It's Day 13 and we arrived at our fourth national park of our road trip - Mount Ranier National Park. Along with quick visits to the Longmire and Ohanapecosh areas, we spent most of our day in the Paradise area of the park. Although Mt. Ranier was in hiding for the day, we enjoyed the wildlife and exploring the park.
