If you are interested in getting your steps in, Seward has plenty of options including its Waterfront Park and the Exit Glacier Area of Kenai Fjords National Park. As the name implies, you can stroll along the waterfront where you may see a cruise ship in port for the day. You'll also find camping, playgrounds, picnic areas and historical markers including Mile Marker 0 of the well known Iditarod. The Glacier Loop and Overlook Trails within Kenai Fjords National Park take you to views of the Exit Glacier.

Day 26 was our first day to start out rainy. Disembarking from Ovation of the Seas and a stroll along Seward's Waterfront Park were soggy, but fortunately the skies partially cleared as we began exploring the Exit Glacier Area of the 6th national park of our journey - Kenai Fjords National Park!
