Look High Up in Como Sky to Find Dome of Duomo!

While standing anywhere in Como's Piazza Duomo, look up and you can't miss the dome of the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta. Seeing the cathedral's interior is also possible by entering through the "Door of the Virtues". There's no cost for walking along a special shortened route designed for those without tickets. A ticket will allow entering through any of the catherdral's doors and also visiting the transept, wooden choir and upper walkways.

Our final day at Lake Como was a rainy one so we altered our plans and stayed in Como City. After sleeping in to wait out the heaviest of the rain, we headed back to Piazza Duomo to start our day of exploring!
