Botswana | Kalahari Desert | Chobe River | Chobe National Park | Chobe Bakwena Lodge | Safari | Game Drive | River Cruise | Chobe Cruise | Elephant Crossing
Will they walk or will they swim as they make their journey between Botswana to Namibia and back again? A river cruise on the Chobe is the perfect opportunity to watch the crossing from start to finish. The giant elephants who call Chobe National Park their home stick together in their family units, and when the time is right the crossing will begin ... one after the other!

Social Media Description
We were a little shocked at the behavior of some safari goers. As hard as it may be, it's important to remember that Chobe National Park is the HOME of these animals, and we are just visitors. Interrupting a family of elephants in their quest to cross the river is just not cool, so don't get too close to these giants as they live their life in their home.
