Located on the border between Switzerland and Northern Italy (and just about one hour north of Milan) lies the beautiful Lake Como. On the southwestern ("bottom") tip of the lake, you'll find Como City. With its historic city center, surrounding mountains and picturesque lake, it's the largest of the lakeside cities and is a destination worth a visit in Italy's Lake Como region.
