Texas | San Antonio | Downtown | River Walk | Broadway Across America | Majestic Theatre | Funny Girl | National Historic Landmark
Not far from the famous River Walk, the Majestic Theatre can be found in downtown San Antonio. Dating back to 1929, the theatre has been recognized as a National Historic Landmark. The interior decor is said to be reminiscent of a Spanish village. As you sit in your seat waiting for a performance to begin, look closely at your surroundings. You may see Renaissance sculptures hidden in the greenery, a variety of trees, birds and even a white peacock!

We traded another pair of our Broadway Across America tickets - this set to see Funny Girl in San Antonio. Every time we are inside this theatre, we are amazed at the interior decor!
Fun fact: The Majestic Theatre was the first theatre in Texas to be totally air-conditioned.
