Tanzania | Kenya | Namanga Border Crossing | Immigration | Customs | African Safari | Maasai Wanderings | Mount Kilimanjaro
Crossing from one country to another almost always requires some sore of immigration formalities. Going from Tanzania to Kenya is no different. Although there are choices, the Namanga Border Crossing comes recommended for tourists as it is often less time consuming. Travelers who plan to climb Mount Kilimanjaro also find it most convenient due to its proximity to the mountain.

Way back in 2019 when we were planning our African adventure, we decided to make the most of our air travel by adding time in Victoria Falls and Chobe National Park after our Tanzanian Safari. Flights to Vic Falls were limited - our best option was actually flying from Nairobi (Kenya). It just seemed easier to stick with our original flight plan when replanning our 2023 trip - we'll never know if there was a better option!
After our final game drive with Maasai Wanderings, our awesome guide Baraka drove us to the Namanga Border. It was there where we said our goodbyes (and took advantage of a few photo opportunities) after a wonderful 8 days together on safari.
