Named for the Casuarina trees along the shoreline, Tanjung Rhu Beach is found in northeastern Langkawi. The waters are a beautiful blue (and quite shallow) and the sands are white. Just a part of Tanjung Rhu is a public beach - there are two luxury resorts that front the beach and whose guests have private access to the remainder of the beach. You'll often see families at Tanjung Rhu Beach which is quite popular with swimmers, snorkelers and kayakers.
