Named after the trees growing in the nearby forest, Langkawi's Durian Perangin Waterfall is typically at its peak flow in the months of June through November. Even if your visit to Malaysia is during one of the other six months of the year, crossing the swinging bridge, footpaths and bridges still makes for a nice hike in a beautifully landscaped park. There's even gazebos along the way - perfect for a rest or picnic stop. You'll find a small parking area, restroom facilities and souvenir and snack shops at the park's entrance.

Social Media Description
The small group private tour that we joined while the Norwegian Jewel was docked in Langkawi took us to the Durian Perangin Waterfall. We (along with a few others) hiked the distance to the waterfall. It wasn't a long hike, but it did take us across a swinging bridge, along a footpath and then 300+ feet up on some rocky (and very uneven) stairs.
Stuff your eyes with wonder, live as if you'd drop dead in ten seconds. See the world. It's more fantastic than any dream made or paid for in factories. - Ray Bradbury
