A short walk after lunch during our Tetebatu Walking Tour with Jonny Tour Guide took us into Mount Rinjani National Park. A tropical forest inside the park is known as Monkey Forest - it's home to some of the cutest black monkeys found anywhere! Watch these cute little critters as they climb, run, jump, eat and even clean themselves and their family/friend monkeys. Monkey lovers won't want to leave the black monkeys behind!

We hiked (or really walked) a short distance to the Monkey Forest in Mount Rinjani National Park. After standing mesmerized watching the black monkeys run on the limbs and hop from branch to branch or tree to tree, it was time to try to get some close-ups (but not very good ones) of the monkeys!
