Lucca Comics and Games | Festivals | Comicon | Lucca | Italy | Pisa Day Trips | Train | October | November
While exploring Pisa, we took the train to Lucca to see the historic walled city. What we ended up with was something completely unexpected. We stumbled
into the biggest comic book festival in Europe! Walking around the perimeter walls of the ancient city and seeing thousands of people in character costumes
of all kinds was an amazing experience. If you plan to be near Lucca in late October or early November, be sure to check the calendar for dates.

Would you be happy or sad if your visit to a city coincided with a festival?
The Lucca Comics and Games Festival is held annually in late October and early November. While it is
nearly impossible to see the city, it is easy to take thousands of photos of the attendees in costume!
Would you enjoy seeing all of the costumes or would you prefer to have toured the city? #lucca #italy
