As did their ancestors of years gone by, members of the Maasai tribe still live a rather nomadic lifestyle in northern Tanzania and Kenya. The men are often recognized by their red checkered clothing, rubber sandals and wooden stick that they carry. Both men and women from the Maasai tribe perform each evening at the Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge.

Social Media Description
We wrapped up our second day on safari with a cultural performance by Maasai tribe members followed by dinner at the Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge.
Fun fact: During a part of the dance, the males "jump". It is thought that the Maasai men who can jump the highest are the strongest. Because of that, they are most respected and desired by the Maasai women.
