The Big Easy Adorned in the Colors of Mardi Gras

Both the architecture of the buildings and the purple, gold and green Mardi Gras decor make it easy to recognize "The Big Easy". Believe it or not, the traditional Mardi Gras colors are on display year round. Do you know the meaning of each of the colors? Purple represents justice, faith is represented by the color green and gold symbolizes power!

When you think of New Orleans, what comes to mind?

There are so many places and things that The Big Easy is known for. For us, after being here for the 2020 parades, Mardi Gras is near the top of our list. Although we didn't make it for Mardi Gras 2021, we still saw the colors on display!

What's one of your favorite things about New Orleans?
