The Mount Ranier Scenic Railroad offers seasonal rides from Elbe to Mineral, Washington and back again. Choose from two classes of service (family friendly or an adults-only "parlor car") for a 1 hour and 15 minute journey. The passenger cars are pulled by a historic steam engine, the Polson No. 70. At the turnaround point in Mineral, passengers can watch the locomotive "run around the train" as it relocates to pull the train back to Elbe.
