The Marstallmuseum in Munich's Nymphenburg Palace is home to carriages, sleighs and other riding accessories that were owned by the House of Wittelsbach. This royal family ruled over Bavaria between 1180 and 1918 (over 700 years). Learn about royal transportation from the last 300 of those years, see a coronation carriage plus get a glimpse at the private collection of Nymphenburg porcelain used by the royal family during a visit to the museum.

Social Media Description

In addition to the palace and park castles, our "combo ticket" to Nymphenburg Palace included entrance to the Marstallmuseum. We didn't spend a lot of time in the museum, but enjoyed seeing the historical carriages!
