No matter which season you choose to visit to visit, Palouse Falls is well worth the trip! There are several
viewpoints - each offering a unique look at the official state waterfall. The lower viewpoint is the closest
to the parking area. Requiring longer walks, the other two viewpoints offer views of both the waterfall
and the Palouse River Canyon.

Do you like waterfalls?
While staying in Spokane in 2017, we took a road trip to see the fabulous Palouse Falls in Washington
state's eastern side. We were amazed at the beauty of the drive with its many miles of rolling hills where
wheat and other crops are grown. (I didn't know that there was this much farming land in Washington!)
Fun fact: In 2014, Palouse Falls was named the state's official waterfall when a bill was passed into law.
The bill was written by school-aged children who made the initial recommendation!
