Since its creation in 2016, this 7 foot tall bald eagle has been greeting passers by in Parkville's English Landing Park. Rather than remove the cottonwood tree, a poll was taken to carve either an eagle, grizzly bear or silhouette of explorers Lewis and Clark. In less than 9 days, local artist used his chainsaw to "carve" this amazing piece of art!

What amazing tree carvings have you seen?

Trying to catch up on steps after our road trip, we walked to English Landing Park in Parkville, Missouri. After hiking a trail plus walking alongside the Missouri River, we spent a little time exploring the park before returning to our home away from home. We couldn't pass up taking a photo of this masterpiece!
