The Lake Elephant Nursery, a sanctuary for rescued elephants, is a family owned business located in northern Phuket. This "elephant home" is a forest - much like the natural habitat that elephants know and love. These animals are able to roam freely about and do not provide rides to visitors. They are well cared for by both the staff and visitors who help with feeding and bathing.
