Dessert is one thing that you can count on when you are sailing on a cruise ship! No matter the time of day, there are plenty of options to satisfy a sweet tooth. The dessert menu on Princess Cruise Lines varies nightly, but one constant on the children's menu is the Love Boat Volcano. Described as "a mountain of ice cream erupting with heaps of hot fudge, sliced banana and whipped cream with a bright red cherry on top", it is one big dessert - even for an adult!

Both of us enjoy sweet treats, but Scott doesn't like a day to go by without some kind of dessert. It's been a few years since we have cruised on Princess, so our transpacific cruise was the perfect chance to check out the "Love Boat Volcano" once again. The bowl was a big one that was piled high with ice cream and whipped cream. Even with his sweet tooth, Scott couldn't finish it all!
