Several years ago Princess Cruise Lines introduced MedallionClass on their ships. Passengers use their medallion while onboard for just about everything - it acts as a key for entering their assigned cabin and can be scanned for onboard purchases. Guests can personalize an avatar that will "follow" them around the ship. As a passenger nears one of the many touchscreen displays on the ship, they'll see their personally chosen avatar swimming on the screen!

While walking around the Emerald Princess cruise ship one evening, we noticed this anniversary wish on the display. (I'm sure that we provided information on the day that we wanted to celebrate when we made our reservation, but that was so long ago that this was a big surprise!) Happy anniversary to us!!!
