Egypt | Cairo | Giza | Giza Plateau | Giza Pyramids | Great Pyramid of Giza | Khufu | Cheops | Khafre | Chephren | Menkaure | Mykerinos | Camel Ride
Nothing beats being up close to the Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) to truly appreciate its massive size and try to understand how the structure could have been built thousands of years ago. Because there is quite a distance between the pyramid of King Khufu and the pyramids of Kings Khafre and Menkaure, riding a camel to a desert hill west of the complex with a unique view of the three pyramids is unforgettable.

So many camels with their guides on the Giza Plateau - it was a fun way to view the pyramids from a different angle and saved a long walk too!
