Dine at Lonsdale Quay Market AFTER Summer '23

What originally opened as a North Shore marketplace for Expo '86 Vancouver is undergoing a major renovation project. Scheduled to reopen in Fall 2023, the Food Hall at Lonsdale Quay Market will be better than ever. New dining offerings will be available, there will be food events, live music and fun for the kiddos plus a bar serving hand-crafted cocktails and locally produced beers, wines and ciders.

Have you been disappointed by a place that you were excited to visit?

We had read about Lonsdale Quay and we arrived ready to explore the market (and enjoy a fun dinner). What we first saw were signs reading "We are open. Unless we are closed. We are only closed when we are not open." Hmm...

As it turned out, no dinner for us due to an extensive renovation project that was underway. The "market" was open, but the "food hall" that we were in search of was not. Oh well, maybe next time!
