The Christ the Redeemer statue stands high on a mountain overlooking the city and bay of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
Constructed during the 1920's, the statue is widely recognized by the people of Brazil and the world. The pilgrimage to
the top of the mountain takes a while but we had an amazing trip which included outstanding views of the bay, beaches,
city and the iconic Sugarloaf Mountain.
