Just off of Interstate 44 and near Route 66, there's a half-size replica of the famous Stonehenge monument. This replica was actually dedicated on the date of the summer solstice - June 20, 1984. Unlike the original monument, the rocks for the monument at Missouri Science & Technology were cut by
the university's water jet cutter equipment. Missouri S & T is a recognized university for engineering and computer science.
