Germany | Bavaria | Munich | Day Trip | Rottenbuch | Romantic Road | Church | Monastery | Rottenbuch Abbey Church | History
The 220 mile journey between Wurzburg and Fussen in Germany is known as the Romantic Road. As "advertised", there are a total of 28 stops along the way in towns varying in size from tiny (or some might even say not worth a stop) to places most people would enjoy spending a full day or more. The town of Rottenbuch is on the small side but does have a church, monastery and cemetery that are worthy of a short visit.

Social Media Description
We rode on a part of Germany's Romantic Road on our tour that took us from Munich to one of the area's most famous castles. Our first stop was in the town of Rottenbuch where we had time to explore the church and nearby cemetery before continuing along the road.
