Gibraltar | Upper Rock Nature Reserve | Rock of Gibraltar | Royal Anglican Way | Apes Den | Barbary Macaque | Barbary Apes | Monkeys
In addition to some abandoned military installations, the path known as Royal Anglian Way is home to the Anglian Way Macaque Group, one of the troops of Barbary Apes living in Gibraltar's Upper Rock Nature Reserve. From St. Michael's Cave to the Apes Den, visitors can see the apes in their natural habitat. Bigger crowds gather at the feeding station in the Apes' Den where twice daily feedings (early morning and late evening) for the troop take place.

This is our last post featuring the famous Barbary Apes of Gibraltar ... I promise! (But sure did love seeing them. When we return later this year, I'll have to find a way to see the apes once again.)
