Visitors to Cairo should plan a minimum of 1/2 day to explore Saqqara (or Sakkara), an archaeological site just a short distance from the Giza Plateau. In addition to Djoser's Step Pyramid, the tomb of Princess Seshseshet Idut can be found in Saqqara (plus so much more). After entering the tomb, you'll be amazed at the clarity of the reliefs and petroglyphs that you'll find inside.

Social Media Description
There was so much to see in Saqqara, and as usual, we didn't have nearly enough time to explore the entire area. Before leaving, we got a chance to see the Tomb of Princess Seshseshet Idut. Since arriving in Egypt, this was the first place where we saw petroglyphs / relief drawings.
