What trails do you enjoy hiking time and time again?
We fell in love with the Wai Koa Loop Trail in Kilauea on the Hawaiian island of Kauai. We first hiked the trail in 2017 and vowed to return on our next trip to the island. Although the trail has changed a bit (even the starting point is in a different place), the sight that we loved most was still there - the Stone Dam. It is said to have been built in the 1800s with hand-cut rocks in order to bring water to the Kilauea Sugar Plantation.
Today, it's a beautiful place to enjoy the scenery, listen to the sound of the falling water and maybe even take a swim or enjoy a snack.
Do you have any favorite hiking trails that you've hiked multiple times?
