Florida | Tampa | Tampa International Airport | TPA | Art | Sculpture | Turtles | Leatherback | Sea Turtle | Hatchlings
When walking in Tampa's International Airport, make sure to look up. You'll see a sculpture of a
leatherback sea turtle that appears to be flying through the airport. Looking more closely, you'll realize
that there's an even larger "reflection" of the turtle. What you may not immediately realize is that the
reflection is made up of much smaller turtle hatchlings suspended on cables.

What do you do at the airport while waiting to board your flight?
We spent hours at Tampa's International Airport before our flight was open for boarding. Although the
huge flamingo sculpture that was recently announced isn't in place yet, we did get to see this turtle
sculpture with all of its babies!
Do you have a favorite way to pass time at the airport?
