Is This Trout Too Big To Catch?


    

At the intersection of Ferry Road and Tongariro Street (just before it turns into Roberts Street) in Taupo, New Zealand hangs a huge metal fish. Since it is Trout (Rainbow and Brown) that are most frequently caught in Lake Taupo, it just makes sense that the sculpture would be of a trout!

Which do you enjoy more - fishing or eating fish?

For me, as long as it is seafood and I don't have to catch or clean it, I like it!

While strolling after dinner near New Zealand's Lake Taupo, we came upon this huge metal trout "hanging" just across the street from the lake and a short walk from some of the city's restaurants overlooking the lake. Such a cool sculpture which represents an important part of life in Taupo.
